I am a highly motivated mathematician with a master’s degree, 4 years of international work experience at top notch research institutions, and proven leadership and presentation skills. I have experience working on and managing projects with multiple stakeholders, rapidly changing requirements, and short timelines. I enjoy digging into a new project and solving problems.

My husband and I are moving to London at the end of March 2015 and I am actively searching for career opportunities in the London area in the fields of consulting, quantitative banking, and research and development. I will posses the right to work in the UK and I am a native English speaker.

Problem Solving

I enjoy solving complex and challenging problems. As a university student, I majored in mathematics, which is founded on learning to think critically to solve problems. I also used my problem solving skills working at Clemson University's IT help desk. During my time at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, I thrived working with a team to do things that had never before been done and solve problems no one else had.

Data Analysis

I am experienced at performing a wide variety of data analyses using MATLAB, Abaqus, and Excel. One of my favorite parts of my current job is examining simulation data to understand the relationships between different variables and find the underlying causes of phenomenon.

Proven Leadership

Leadership has been a part of my life since before university. From managing an internal company project to co-leading requirements development to volunteering as a social media coordinator and student advisor, I have proven leadership capabilities in business and my personal life.


From emails to phone calls to briefings and presentations, I am experienced at communicating with project sponsors from a variety of different technical and non-technical backgrounds and with people from other countries and cultures for whom English is a second language.

Modeling & Simulation

I am experienced at modeling and simulation of systems and algorithms using MATLAB, MATLAB Simulink, C++, SolidWorks, Abaqus, OpenSim, and parallel computing environments.

Algorithm Development

I have experience developing algorithms using a variety of methods such as dynamic programming, Markov decision processes, and stochastic modelling.
